“Basile, a native of Jamestown and a graduate of Jamestown High School, was a standout baseball player at SUNY Fredonia and later served as assistant coach at his alma mater. He worked in player development for the Detroit Tigers during the 2011 season before securing a position as assistant coach for the University at Buffalo. While completing work on his MBA, he was assistant coach at Lake Erie College, and is currently the head baseball coach at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia. He serves as an advisor to USA Baseball and is credentialed as a Certified Secrets of Champions integrated performance coach.”
“The Montreal native’s background in the game is extensive, beginning as a catcher in the premier Baseball League of Ontario until he was 18. After a music industry and radio career, Frank spent the 2017 season as the box office manager for the Oakland A’s NY-P League affiliate in Vermont, and became the director of team operations in 2018. Earlier this year, he assisted in sales for the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Mary’s, Canada.”

SOC Foundation Agrees to provide on-the-field coaching and baseball administration to Jamestown Jammers
“The foundation has agreed to provide the on-the-field coaching and baseball administration next year. The manager for the 2020 team will be Jamestown native Jordan Basile, who is currently the head coach at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia.”
